Rachel Jackson
Rachel Jackson, the proud daughter of Cynthia and James Jackson, is an educator and mental health professional currently serving as a school counselor at an all-boys Catholic high school on the south side of Chicago. She earned her undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University and completed her graduate studies at Northeastern Illinois University.
Supporting others in any way possible brings her true joy, and she feels incredibly blessed to support students and families every day. She is also a proud member of New Life Covenant Southeast Church, where faith and community play a significant role in her life.
Here are three things to know about her:
- She loves all things purple

- She absolutely adores kids
Ali Thomas
Ali Thomas, son of James Adair and of his late mother, Christine Thomas. He works at the DuPage County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, and he also run a hospitality and real estate business. One of his greatest joys is mentoring junior high students and walking alongside them as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.
He’s a proud small group leader of Willow Creek Church of South Barrington Junior High Ministry.
Here are three things to know about him:
- He enjoys treating himself to a slice of caramel cake or a glass of good bourbon or wine
- He’s a Chicago State University alumni
- His favorite place to travel is New Orleans and London, England—he had the pleasure of going twice
